Celebrating Yom Hatzmod in Naharyia

First we went to the main (and only Ashkanizi ) shul in Naharyia.

We recited the special prayers for the State of Israel’s independence. Below you can a little of the celebration.

Then the Naharyia band played Hatikva.

From there we joined the thousands of people celebrating on the main street, the HaGa’aton

And then the fireworks
