Keeping Nature Out of the House


On a rehab that I am working on, not the Madisonville one, I found the reason we had a hole in the floor of the second floor porch.

ImageThis little guy peeked out, saw me, and scrambled out of there but soon came back and hoisted himself through the hole.

  1. Of the four versions you’ve shown, the last one (greens) is my favorite as it contrasts nicely with the brick color.

  2. I’m thinking that those colors would never pass the R and R’s of a Homeowner’s Association here in California…

    • I probably won’t go that wild because of the brick. However, in Madisonville, the juxaposition of bright colors is common. Looks like Cape May in NJ but not as expensive. Also, photoshop didn’t have the colors I really wanted. Here is an example from TripAdvisor
